We're looking for a select number of talented and motivated students from across Sheboygan, Fond du Lac and the Manitowoc region to join us for the first-ever Commons Sheboygan Program.

What is The Commons?

The Commons is a bold collaboration between colleges and the business community to give you real-world experience building new products and businesses. This is not your normal class project. You'll work with local professionals, explore the innovation process and solve big problems.

When you go through The Commons, you join part of a growing network of innovators from across the region. It's our mission to get you connected to all of the great people, companies and opportunities that we can find.

WHEN IS IT?

10:00am - 5:00pm on Sunday, March 19 and Sunday, April 2

WHERE IS IT?

Jake's Cafe in downtown Sheboygan. It's an amazing creative co-working space. We're going to take over the entire place and turn it into an innovation center!

WHAT WILL I DO?

On March 19, you'll learn the innovation process, get on a team and take on one of our open-ended challenges. Local professionals will provide mentorship and you'll pitch your final ideas at the end of the day on April 2.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We don't care whether you're a freshman or senior, what your GPA is or what degree you're getting! We're just looking for motivated students that want to solve cool problems and plug into the innovation ecosystem.

Students will typically fall into one of these roles when working on a team:

Hackers - technical and engineering folks of all types
Hipsters - designers, artists and creatives
Hustlers - sales, marketing, finance and business
Handlers - project coordinators, organizers and team leaders

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

It's completely free to participate... You'll also get a shirt and some great food!

WOW! WHERE DO I APPLY?!?

The application is below! We will begin accepting students on a rolling basis, so it's strongly recommended that you apply early. Spots are limited (only a few per school). If you have questions on anything, please email us!
